But one thing is certain: without the right energy strategy, it\u2019s impossible to complete this distance with maximum enjoyment and safety.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s exactly why we have created the V\u00f5handu Marathon Energy Pack \u2014 a practical, proven solution designed to keep your energy levels stable throughout the entire course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why is extra energy critical at V\u00f5handu Marathon?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During prolonged paddling, muscle glycogen stores inevitably get depleted. Properly filled glycogen stores create a strong base, allowing the energy you consume on the course to add effectively and support a stable performance throughout the entire distance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to carbohydrate-load correctly before the race<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1) Start carefully one week before the race<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reduce training load during the final week, especially in the last couple of days before the start.
